Contemporary styling and functional sleeping space are combined in this wonderful Powell Textured Twin/Futon Bunk Bed . Top twin size bed and lower full size futon bed are great for siblings, sleepovers, and story time. Designed and engineered with safety in mind. Bunk bed has heavy gauge 3 inch diameter metal tubing, full-length guardrails, and sturdy welded metal slat system for mattress support. Ladders are integrated on each side of bed. Uses a standard twin size mattress and full size futon mattress (sold separately). Only use a twin size mattress that is 74-75 inch long and 37.5-38.5 inch wide on the upper bunk.

Bunk bed is tested and certified by an independent testing laboratory to meet all minimum requirements of ASTM F1427-04 and U.S. CFR Title 16 Part 1513. Maximum total weight is not to exceed 300 lbs. on the upper bunk.

Note: Some assembly required. A Phillips head screwdriver and a hammer are typically the only household tools required for assembly. Complete assembly instructions are provided with the unit.
