Order Approval Procedure for Checks, Money Orders or Wire Transfers: All checks must be drawn in U.S. funds from a U.S. bank. Your order will be approved 8 business days after the day we receive your check, or 2 business days after we receive a money order or bank draft.

ORDER CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS:

U-Sav.com will make every effort to accommodate your requests if made in a timely matter, however we must first check with the manufacturer to make sure your order has not yet shipped and can still be changed. **PLEASE NOTE: On Backordered Items, the factories give us an an estimated date when they expect the backordered item to be in stock. In many cases these backordered items arrive and ship sooner than their estimated available date, so it is imperative if you should decide to cancel an item that has been backordered, that you contact us first to make sure the item has not already shipped. We will then contact the factory to cancel your order. If we find your order has already shipped, then we are sorry but we will not be able to make any changes in your behalf. Any order that is changed or canceled while "In Process" is considered to be a non-defective return even if the item is still in transit to you. No credit will be issued for rejected deliveries for reasons other than visible damage. This includes shipments not delivered because you are not available after 3 delivery attempts, you refuse delivery because you want to cancel the order, or you change your mind for whatever reason.

PLEASE NOTE: It is extremely important that you give us a "good" phone number when you place your order where you can be contacted, because if your shipment goes by LTL or common carrier, they will call that number to arrange for delivery. If they cannot reach you after 3 delivery attemps and you do not return their calls regarding delivery, your shipment will be returned to the factory and no credit will be issued by the manufacturer.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We ship only to the continental United States, and we reserve the right to refuse any orders. Please note that South Shore products are shipped flat and ready to assemble.

Sales Tax: We only charge sales tax for orders in Missouri, which will be calculated upon checkout.

Before you sign for delivery, be sure to count the number of pieces you are receiving and make sure they match the number of pieces listed on the bill of lading. I'm sorry but we cannot be responsible for any missing items if not reported within 24 hours of signing for your shipment.

Even if the package appears only slightly damaged, please write "Package Damaged" when you sign for delivery. If you see physical damage to the carton, please show it to the delivery person, and ask permission to open and inspect the package before signing for it. If you notice damage to the item inside the carton DO NOT ACCEPT IT AND DO NOT SIGN FOR IT! Simply inform the driver that you are refusing delivery and contact us at once to make a report, so we can have a replacement shipped to you immediately. If you refuse delivery, please notify us so that the factory can expect the return shipment. If you have already accepted the package and find that parts are missing or damaged, please call SouthShore's 800 number (1-800-290-0465) and they will ship you the replacement parts free of charge. (If you have any problems, please call us and we will help you.)

PLEASE NOTE:

  • You must advise us of any damage within12 business days from the date of delivery.
  • The production code must be provided as well as pictures showing the damage.
  • If you do not want replacement parts or furniture then we must be notified of the damage and we will contact the carrier for a pick up and inspection. Once the package has been picked up and inspected, South Shore will proceed with the credit. Only the cost of the furniture will be credited. Shipping charges are not refundable.
  • If you want replacement parts or furniture, then South Shore will send replacement parts free of charge. In the case of a complete replacement, you must make sure that the parts are repacked in the box in order so the shipper can pick them up for inspection.
  • Credit will be processed within 10 working days.

    A signature will be required to establish proof of delivery. Don't forget before you sign for delivery, it is your responsibility to carefully check and make sure you receive all the pieces or boxes listed on the receipt or bill of lading. You are also responsible for listing any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing it.

    Call SouthShore's Consumer Service Department TOLL-FREE at 1-800-290-0465 (Have your assembly booklet ready.)

    Sales Tax: Orders shipped to Missouri must add 7.45% state tax to total purchase amount (this will be calculated for you at checkout).

    SOUTHSHORE WARRANTY INFORMATION:

    5-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

    1. South Shore Industries Ltd. provides the original buyer with a warranty covering "defects" on furniture parts and workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase.
    2. The word "defect" as used in this warranty is defined as any imperfection that may impair the use of the product for which it was intended.

    3. This warranty is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of defective component parts, and excludes all other direct or indirect charges and expenses up to the limit permitted by law in your state/province.

    4. In the case of a discontinued part or product, we promise to reimburse the value of that part or product.

    5. If a replacement part is unavailable, South Shore Industries Ltd.'s liability to the buyer will not exceed the production cost of the part in question.

    6. This warranty only applies under conditions of normal domestic use. It does not cover defects resulting from commercial use, intentional damage, negligence, abuse, product modification, accidents, exposure to the elements, or maintenance that does not comply with the guidelines on our web site.

    7. This warranty is only valid on condition that South Shore Industries Ltd can reserve the right to verify the basis of any request, and also to see the original buyer proof of purchase.

    8. This warranty is only valid for purchases made at an authorized retailer for South Shore Industries Ltd. in Canada or the U.S.

    9. This warranty defines the limits of South Shore Industries Ltd.'s liability, and entitles the original buyer to specific rights. Any warranty defined by law in your state/province is limited to a period of 5 years. If the law in your state/province prohibits this restriction, then it does not apply.

    10. South Shore Industries Ltd does not give reimbursements for defective furniture, but will replace it with an item of equivalent value.

    Damaged Merchandise

    You must advise of of the damage within 12 working days from the date of delivery and you must provide pictures showing the damage. If you need replacement parts, South Shore will send replacements parts to you free of charge.

    Package Not Delivered for Various Reasons

    • Consumer not available after 3 delivery attempts and freight carrier returns shipment back to the shipper.

    • Consumer refuses delivery because they want to cancel the order.• Consumer changes his mind for any reason

    NO CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED.

    All non-defective return items must be returned in "like new" condition including, original packaging and packaging materials, all cartons, documentation, warranty materials and registration cards. Do not deface or write on the items exterior package.

    To return an item please call U-Sav toll-free at 1-877-284-9500, and request a Return Authorization number and shipping instructions.

    Return merchandise will not be accepted without an RA number being issued. Shipping instructions will then be provided. Your RA number must be highly visible on the outside label of your return package. Merchandise will be inspected upon receipt and credit will be issued for merchandise that can be resold as new minus the shipping charges and a 5% transaction fee. Refunds will not be made on merchandise that is fully or partially assembled.

    Unauthorized returns will be returned to the customer freight collect.
